Peggy Steevensz is a California multi-media artist who came together with Andy Rosen, a London photographer to create a stunning line of “Punk” serving trays that can only be called the most exquisite punk collector’s item. Peggy took Andy’s iconic images and using either lucite or wood produced a stunning line of trays. Imagine a very rare Clash gig at Acklam Hall Xmas, 1979, a cool blue background mounted in thick lucite with brushed metal handles and being-served two martinis. Tea for two served on a two-tone wood tray with red leather handle with Johnny Rotten to keep you company, or the Jam album cover “Setting Sons” to brighten up breakfast in bed.
Each tray is handbuilt and unique using either wood or lucite. Handels are either metal or red or brown leather. The images are printed on wood for the wood trays or mounted under lucite. These trays are only available in a limited edition of 20. Each one will be signed and accompanied by a letter of authenticity. This is the first one off the press numbered 1/20.
